About the Car
This 1930s style vintage limousine, known as a Bramwith, was purpose-built for wedding car hire. The body has been slightly stretched, to allow for more legroom and an extra row of seats, and the doors open a full 180 degrees to give plenty of space for the fullest of wedding gowns. The wedding car also has a huge sunroof which the photographers love, allowing them to take some stunning photographs in natural day light, inside the car, of the wedding couple, or of the wedding party standing in the back of this beautiful, custom-designed classic wedding car.
The high quality beige leather interior is contrasted with detailed walnut trim. All of the mechanical parts are new, giving this vintage limousine the reliability and ride comfort of a modern car, whilst also maintaining the appearance, class, and elegance of a 1930's vintage car. About Us
Vintage Limousine Hire is small, family wedding car hire business, founded in 1986 and based in Flitwick, Bedfordshire. As the longest-established private hire business in mid-Bedfordshire, we are well-known locally for our excellent service and reliability. We pride ourselves on providing a first-class service for all of our clients and aim to make your wedding day outstanding and special. We can assure you, whatever your needs are, we will do our best to accommodate them.
As a small business, we are able to provide a personal touch. You will be able to meet and discuss all the arrangements directly with the owner and builder of the car, who will also be your chauffeur on the wedding day. You can choose the colours of the flowers, ribbons and bows for the car, and you can also choose the uniform you would like the chauffeur to wear from one of four different classic styles and colours.
Every wedding has a different format, and we will do all we can to make your day unique and special. Traditionally, we arrive a little early at the house or hotel to collect the bride, the person who will give her away and/or the bridesmaids. We then drive the bridal party at a leisurely and unhurried pace to the wedding ceremony, where we will stay with the wedding car during the service and the photographs. After the wedding ceremony, we will drive the bride and groom or bridesmaids to the wedding reception venue, again positioning the wedding car for the best photographs of your special day. Increasingly, wedding couples are having their wedding ceremony and reception in the same venue, in which case we will again wait until the couple is ready to have photographs with the wedding car, and we often take the bride and groom for a short drive together after the wedding ceremony. This allows the wedding couple a chance to relax and have a glass of champagne in the car while the staff prepare the reception venue for the wedding celebrations.
